As NYCxDesign comes to a close, here’s a look at some standout products that were exhibited at the bustling ICFF expo. KBB was honored to judge the kitchen and bath category for the show’s Editors Awards – congrats to winner Graff, for its delicate-but-modern Cameo collection of bath fittings, which leads off our gallery of finds.
With its emphasis on original and sustainable design, ICFF presented a broad range furnishing product for residential, contract and hospitality environments to an audience of 10,000 architects, interior designers, retailers, distributors, developers and press. Over 450 established and emerging design brands from more than 35 countries exhibited at the show this year.
ICFF Talks, a focused lineup of panel sessions, keynote presentations and intimate conversations led by the most iconic names in the industry, drew enthusiastic audiences over the course of the three-day show.
The 2024 edition had plenty of new spaces to explore, lounge, network and converse:
- Bespoke: The Art of Making, presented with AD PRO, celebrated the skill and expertise of high-end artisans
- The Library, in partnership with book publisher Phaidon, hosted activations for the new release Designed for Life: The World’s Best Product Designers and a curated library
- OFS x ROOM launched a podcast with the leading voices in global design discussing the ideas reshaping how we live and work. Guests included Giulio Cappellini, Luca Nichetto and Lee Broom
- Dedicated areas for complementary products such as Materials and Kitchen & Bath, featuring The Water Studio x Grohe Lounge with talks from NKBA and Designhounds
- Design Schools Workshop, presented with Honda Design: This collaborative, 4-day course featured a selection of 35-40 international design students working together on a creative solution to a brief. This year, the theme was “The Desired Future of the Next Generation.”
Next year’s ICFF is scheduled for May 18-20, 2025.
