Upbeat and well-attended, this week’s ICFF had a celebratory feel. Co-located with WantedDesign and hosting numerous international pavilions, its aisles were filled with color and creativity.
Trends? Organic shapes were everywhere, from tubs to furnishings to textiles. Ceramic and concrete were top materials, often with a rough finish to them. Colors ran the gamut, from neon to earth-toned. A handmade aesthetic pervaded the show, pushing precise, machine-produced looks to the side.
For the ICFF Editors Awards program, KBB was invited to judge the kitchen and bath products as well as participate in choosing the best-of-show honoree. Taking the top spot in the kitchen and bath category was Mila International, with its Antoni Gaudi-inspired workstation sink. See it – and other standouts from the show – in the photo gallery.
