Belwith Products Named One of The Best & Brightest Companies to Work For

Published: May 29, 2019

Honoring companies that deliver exceptional human resource practices and possess an impressive commitment to their employees, the National Association for Business Resources recognized Belwith Products for the third year in a row as a national winner of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For within the U.S.

President Dan Kennard, who took the leadership helm of the Belwitth Products family of brands that includes Belwith-Keeler, Keeler, Hickory Hardware and First Watch Security, in January, saw the three-time-designation as no surprise.

“I chose to join the Belwith Products community for a variety of reasons,” said Kennard. “First and foremost was the dedication I see the company has to its employees, and employees to the company. My goal is to continue to provide opportunities to engage, challenge and grow my colleagues and partners.”

The company was assessed based on categories such as engagement, recruiting, training & development, diversity, health & wellness and communication. The hardware leader was recognized out of thousands of nominations submitted from across the nation for its exceptional management practices, work processes and the company’s dedication to its employees.

Through an employee engagement analysis report, the National Association for Business Resources identified that amongst the brand’s employees, the vast majority understand: the company’s mission and values, feel they can balance job requirements and personal/family life, feel they can be themselves at work and favor Belwith Products’ acts of contributing to the local community.

“The fact that for the third year in a row, our team has taken the effort to self-nominate and grade our company’s continued efforts to grow and improve our quality of work standards, shows our dedication to continue the commitment this brand was established on more than 125 years ago,” said Kennard. “We will continue to look to the future of our employees, our company and our community for years to come.”
