Cerno, the California-based lighting design and manufacturer, introduces two ceramic shade styles. The Creo (pictured) and Dea Ceramic Shades are handcrafted in Laguna Beach by ceramic artists Scott and Naomi Schoenherr for Cerno. The terracotta is unglazed, accentuating the clay’s natural red earth coloring. The modern form works well in clean, minimalist outdoor and indoor environments, as well as in more transitional spaces. This new release holds true to Cerno’s values of being locally designed and sourced, all while being inspired by natural environments, organic shapes and local materials.
