While the Devon&Devon flagship showroom in London provided a comprehensive overview of the brand’s production, it did not include its most recent designs. The space was remodeled to include the new products as well as provide a more immersive experience in Devon&Devon’s living philosophy.
The showroom was created and curated by the in-house design team, who compared the process to residential design.
“Designing the interior of a home is the result of an ongoing dialogue with those who will inhabit those spaces. Designing a showroom, on the other hand, aims to translate the brand’s values and showcase to architects and clients the beauty and multiplicity of the products and services the company offers.”
The new layout of the space offers visitors a journey through time, showcasing Devon&Devon’s most iconic products and the most innovative solutions for home and bathroom design. The interior circulation paths were rerouted to guide people through the collections, from the most classic ones to those where past inspiration is reinterpreted with a contemporary eye. In fact, the staff’s favorite areas are those in which products designed three decades ago seamlessly interact with those created in recent years, including collaborations with renowned international studios like Gensler and Marcel Wanders.
In addition to the product vignettes, the showroom also features a first for the brand: an area dedicated to its “Tailored Interiors” custom design service.
