WOW Design has introduced new collections, including Vestige, conceived for small formats with a material and chromatic focus — retro-inspired pieces with iridescent highlights, angular reliefs that play with light, glazes that reveal shifting nuances, artisanal finishes and marbles reinterpreted on a contemporary scale. The proposal spans earthy and natural tones through to deep greens and blues, as well as mineral-inspired chromatics of great sophistication.
Micare, retro aesthetics with subtle shine
With a distinctly retro feel, Micare revives the ceramics of the 1960s and 70s, when glazed tiles dominated walls and floors. Its glossy finish incorporates a slight iridescent effect with tiny sparkles, adding depth and recalling interiors from that era. Made in porcelain body and 5-by-15 cm format, it comes in three color ranges — ambar, alpi and linen — each available in light, medium and dark, allowing for gradients and layered compositions. The collection is completed with Rim and Canale reliefs (in dark), which reinforce its graphic style and vintage character.
Nouvelle, Art Déco reinterpreted
Nouvelle stems from the Faces collection, reinventing its reliefs in a smaller, more stylized 3-by-15 cm format. Produced in white body, it alternates flat pieces with Nouvelle Vague, an angular relief that adds volume and striking light-and-shadow effects. Its color palette, inspired by precious stones, combines mattes and glosses, from soft tones such as talc, biscuit or almond, to more intense hues like old rose, palladian blue, storm blue or charcoal. The result is a collection that updates the ornamental spirit of Art Déco, turning each piece into a gesture of timeless luxury.
Sabil, glazed surfaces with shifting nuances
Sabil plays with glaze and texture to create surfaces of rich visual depth. Made in porcelain body and offered in 5-by-15 cm and 3-by-15 cm formats, it features a refined palette ranging from light tones — flour, vanilla, cloud — to deep greens like viridian and jungle, and the bold ultramarine blue. Its singularity lies in the variety of angular, faceted reliefs, which amplify the brilliance of the glaze and generate a continuous play of reflections.
Terre, artisanal roots
The Terre Collection stands out for its range of earthy tones that blend harmoniously, offering a warm and natural palette. These shades pair beautifully with pieces finished in crystalline glaze, creating luminous contrasts. Made in porcelain body and available in 7-by-28 cm and 11.6-by-11.6 cm, the series combines matte finishes — wheat, sienna, umber — with glossy glazes — white, turquoise, pale blue, smoke, chestnut — of great expressiveness. A distinctive detail is found in the white tone, where a pearlescent effect is added, creating a subtle nacre-like sheen.
Vestige, marble with memory and mineral chromatics
With Vestige, WOW Design reinterprets marble through a contemporary lens, evoking the look of stone softened by the passage of time. Its pieces feature rounded edges and a smooth touch, bringing marble down to a more human scale. Made in porcelain body and offered in 11-by-11 cm and 5.4-by-22 cm formats, the collection showcases a curated selection of textures, from classic marbles like Carrara (white with gray veining), Brescia (warm beige with earthy nuances) and Arabescato (white with bold veining), to more exotic options such as Sagano (deep green) and Bluette (vibrant blue), alongside Calatorao (intense black with light veining) — a stone of great character and elegance increasingly used in interior design.
