The grill debuted in Crimson, the original, legacy finish of the Caliber/Rockwell collaboration, and the iconic hue celebrates the core vision of legendary architect David Rockwell. A freestanding, 360-degree walk-around social grill designed to mimic the communal experience of gathering around a picnic table, the Signature Rockwell has been reimagined for those who demand precision at every degree.
Designed to serve as the ultimate outdoor centerpiece, the freestanding Signature Rockwell invites guests to gather, connect and participate in the culinary process from every vantage point. Its most transformative feature is a fully retractable “disappearing lid” that slides seamlessly beneath the cooktop when open. This innovation provides a panoramic, unobstructed view of the grill surface and ensures effortless access, turning outdoor cooking into a shared performance rather than a solitary task.
The grill’s high-performance engineering is as impressive as its distinguished design. Key enhancements include precision heating, advanced engineering, furniture-inspired craftsmanship and bespoke personalization.
Three industry-exclusive 20,000 BTU Crossflame burners (60,000 BTUs total) provide even, consistent heat across a generous 666-sq.-in. active grilling surface. The design also features an integrated side surface that expands the functional workspace, offering a dedicated area for plating, prepping, or presenting dishes directly at the grill.
To ensure longevity in all climates, True has outfitted the grill with durable Weber Knapp hinges and a firebox pitched at a steeper angle to significantly improve grease management and flow. The grill features a handcrafted marine-grade aluminum body paired with an architectural sapele base, constructed with the same 300-series stainless steel found in True’s commercial-grade refrigeration.
Fully customizable through the Build Your True program, the grill is available in True’s curated palette of finishes and six hardware options, yielding 96 distinct color combinations. For a truly one-of-a-kind aesthetic, clients can opt for True’s custom color matching capabilities, which include the option to utilize automotive-grade paints for a specific, high-durability aesthetic.
The new and enhanced design is being unveiled in Crimson, True Caliber’s homage to the original Signature Rockwell. A richly saturated red with a lustrous finish, this impactful classic adds personality and warmth while maintaining a bold presence. The new Crimson finish will be available across the full portfolio of Caliber’s outdoor grills and True Residential’s indoor and outdoor refrigeration.
