Responding to an increased demand for a refined, honed look, Silestone introduces Suede, a new matte finish for the company’s natural quartz surfaces. The finish is smooth to the touch, giving the surface a softer appearance with little reflection. The finish is currently available in Silestone’s black, white and gray hues, including Black Tao, White Zeus Extreme, Cemento and Vortium, along with the entire Nebula series. Suede is ideal for countertops and backsplashes and is easy to maintain, requiring no wax or sealant. Additionally, it reduces the appearance of fingerprints, a bonus for homeowners who are active in the kitchen. Suede starts at $55-per-sq.-ft., depending on thickness and color.
