Quartzforms, a brand of the Scapin Group specializing in the production of mineral surfaces born from extensive and complex technological research, has revamped its Forest, Ocean and Planet collections with a new formulation that reduces crystalline silica content to less than 40%, while preserving the aesthetics and high performance of its premium surfaces. After a year of experimentation, the results achieved by Quartzforms’ R&D department represent an important evolution, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to blending elegance and innovation.
The Forest, Ocean and Planet collections, with their distinctive through-vein patterns, continue to deliver the same resilience and refinement that make them unique. This advancement further strengthens the brand’s position in the international surfaces market, reaffirming its ability to combine sophisticated design, exceptional performance, and a concrete drive toward sustainability by reducing the certified crystalline silica content from 92% to less than 40%.
The Forest Collection redistributes and enhances the kaleidoscope of varied textures offered by our environment, creating a range of surfaces rich in light and depth. A chromatic palette in constant transformation is expressed in a collection of delicately tactile, luminous and expressive slabs inspired by nature and its spontaneous allure.
Ocean surfaces embody the mesmerizing motion of the sea, vast ocean expanses and the depth of the abyss. A tribute to the expressive power of nature, this collection perfectly balances aesthetic appeal and functionality, with a range of soft, balanced tones. It captures the essence and beauty of the marine world, celebrating its wonder in every detail.
Planet transforms the fascination of space and its ecosystem into material through a collection of 12 surfaces that celebrate the expressive power of the universe. Highly versatile for refined and exclusive indoor projects, the collections are made from technical mineral material with full-body composition, featuring through-veins visible throughout the thickness.
As with all Quartzforms slabs, the high aesthetic impact of the surfaces is complemented by the unquestionable advantages of the raw materials they are made of:resistance to abrasions, scratches, aggressive chemicals and heat, as well as being non-toxic and non-porous. The surfaces are available in glossy and brushed finishes in sizes of 320 by 164 cm for the Planet Collection and 320 by 155 cm for Forest and Ocean, with thicknesses of 2 or 3 cm.
