MTI Baths has made bathroom remodeling easier with the new 6036 shower base. At first glance, it appears to be a standard model with a hidden drain. But when the drain cover is removed, the concealed an offset drain is revealed, allowing the base to replace an original narrower base or tub without the hassle of repositioning the drain plumbing in most cases. This design saves time and effort while creating a sleek, contemporary finished look.
This shower base was designed in answer to the remodeling needs of a large Las Vegas hotel and measures 60 by 36 inches. The base is crafted from durable Lucite, a cross-linked cast acrylic made in the U.S. It is further enhanced by multiple layers of fiberglass, resin, titanium and wood to prevent flexing. Another option allows for factory-leveled bases supported by high-density foam for easy installation. The base includes an integral tile flange on three sides, a stainless steel or white powder coated hidden drain cover and can be specified with a left-or right-side drain. Also available is MTI‘s Radiance integrated shower floor heating system. The base itself is available in white, bone or biscuit with a glossy finish or an optional white matte finish.
