Modular Cooktop Family, Fisher & Paykel

Fisher & Paykel is pleased to announce the launch of its Series 11 and 9 Modular Cooktop Family. Expanding on the brand’s suite of cooking appliances, this new series allows individuals to join multiple induction cooktops, teppanyaki cooktops, and ventilation units together to create truly tailored culinary solutions with extremely accurate temperature control. Each configuration features a Primary Modular Induction Cooktop with an intuitive touchscreen that controls up to nine cooking zones and two ventilation modules at once. Available in sleek black ceramic glass with the teppanyaki cooktops finished in stainless steel, this minimalist series offers the ultimate design flexibility as well as a safer and more sustainable way to prepare food at home.

As the cornerstone of each system, the Primary Modular Induction Cooktop’s innovative touchscreen seamlessly controls the main and auxiliary cooktops for immediate heat response, never heating beyond the cook zone. Its intuitive interface guides individuals as they manipulate cooking zones and ventilation units with just the touch of a finger. Providing complete temperature control, users can choose from 9 different heat levels across the primary cooktop to best match the ingredients on hand, including a PowerBoost option to bring a pot from boil to simmer in seconds. The primary cooktops offer 2, 4 or 5 cooking zones, depending on the size of the module. For added flexibility, homeowners can pair front and rear cook zones to create a “Smart Zone” when using griddles or other large cookware. The touchscreen also manages internal timers which can hold cook zone temperatures for an extended period of time, ideal for keeping sauces warm or soups at a boil.

Each Modular Cooktop Family configuration can be scaled to fit specific kitchen layouts and patterns of use – combine a 36”, 30”, 24” or 15” primary induction cooktop module with a range of Auxiliary Induction Cooktops and Teppanyaki Cooktops, finished off with downdraft or overhead ventilation to create the perfect culinary solution. The series also prioritizes performance through the highest quality materials and robust engineering. Each primary and auxiliary induction cooktop is made of tough yet easy-to-clean ceramic glass, tested to withstand high temperatures and resist damage from pots and pans over time. The teppanyaki cooktops, also powered by induction, provides quick and even heat distribution, up to 430℉, ideal for grilling, frying or sautéing directly without additional pots or pans. Made of 316 high-performance, layered composite stainless steel, this companion cooktop provides authentic, restaurant quality results. Designed with efficiency top of mind, special Auxiliary Modular Ventilation attachments eliminate the need for overhead ventilation for complimentary cooktops and adjust automatically based on cooking conditions. Users can link the ventilation to adjacent cooktops and choose between 5 different air speeds for more efficient extraction or a remote blower for quieter extraction. Across the series, the Modular Cooktop Family products can be installed raised or flushed to blend seamlessly with any kitchen’s design aesthetic.

As an additional cooking tool, the brand’s new Wireless Temperature Sensor comes with each primary cooktop base and pairs with the SmartHQ application to give users ultra precise temperature monitoring. WiFi compatible, users can also connect their primary cooktop with the SmartHQ app to enhance its functionality and ensure automatic performance updates.
