INOX debuts concealed-fixing, flush-trim options for privacy barn door locks. Both design options—Luna (round) and Urban (square)—feature smooth, stainless-steel thumb turns that are flush against the wall with no visible screws or fasteners.
Six designer finishes include polished stainless steel, satin stainless steel, satin brass, satin nickel, oil-rubbed bronze and graphite black. This hardware is also offered with CeraMax, a line of ceramic-coated door hardware that prevents deterioration due to harsh environments, including oxidization and humidity, as a premium option.
INOX’s Privacy Barn Door Lock is a sophisticated yet discreet integrated locking solution to secure the door for added privacy. Its design includes a 1-in. bolt installed inside the door jamb instead of the traditional practice of adding a lock on the door itself. The bolt slides securely into the door’s strike and the locking mechanism is easily activated by a thumb turn from inside the room. The strike, mounted on the door, features a discreet spring-loaded dust cover with a decorative cap on the opposite side of the door. A safety release allows the lock to be disengaged from the outside in case of an emergency.
