Gaggenau has introduced an all-new matte black glass finish for select 200 series Flex Induction Cooktops, now available for purchase in the U.S. market in 30- and 36-in. models.
Designed as a subtle evolution of the architectural kitchen, the matte glass surface debuts a non-reflective finish that softens glare while reducing the visibility of fingerprints and scratches, helping maintain a clean, seamless appearance through everyday use. Blending Gaggenau’s established induction technology with a sophisticated new aesthetic, the matte glass surface strikes a balance between form and function, seamlessly integrating into the modern kitchen with understated elegance.
Gaggenau’s 200 series Flex induction cooktop pairs precision induction technology with a refined matte black glass surface designed to bring a more understated, architectural quality to the kitchen. The frameless design is intended for flush mounting, while the matte surface minimizes reflections and reduces the visibility of fingerprints and scratches for a cleaner overall appearance.
The cooktop also features flexible induction zones that can be combined to accommodate larger cookware, free positioning within combined cooking areas, a frying sensor for precise temperature control, and Gaggenau’s signature removable magnetic Twist-Pad control with a bi-colored display. Together, these elements balance refined materiality with intuitive functionality and precise performance.
