Furnipart has introduced Nordic oak to its popular Wood Collection – a series of handles and knobs that celebrate minimalism through true craftsmanship in FSC-certified wood. With this most recent update, it’s not just about new designs, but about an entirely new finish that transforms how wood feels and looks. Developed with one clear purpose — to let the material take centre stage.
With Nordic oak, Furnipart has created a surface that captures the essence of Nordic design – honesty, simplicity and respect for nature’s own tones. It highlights the oak’s grain and texture as if shaped by light and time. The soft, matte glow lends a calm, natural expression that subtly changes with use – becoming more beautiful as it ages. This finish allows the clarity and warmth of the wood to shine through in all its natural beauty.
The collection introduces six new handles designed by Signe Hytte, VE2, Vosding Studio and Meneghello Paolelli – expanding Furnipart’s wooden universe with pieces that can be combined across styles and expressions.
Wood, as always, remains at the heart of the collection – a living material with warmth, texture and depth. Each handle is created with a focus on functionality and tactile quality, allowing the wood’s natural characteristics to shine through in both form and feel.
All handles are made from FSC-certified oak, and the collection is part of the company’s broader ambition to reduce its carbon footprint by 2027, moving towards more climate-neutral materials and production processes.
With these new additions and the introduction of the Nordic oak finish, Furnipart reaffirms its position as a design brand that dares to let simplicity, honesty and functionality take the lead – proving that great design can be both beautiful and responsible.
