With the Compatta Collection designed by Federico Peri, CEDIT tells a story of experimentation, art, design and architecture and promotes contemporary creativity with a cultural project that gives life to collections of original style. Thanks to Florim’s know-how, large porcelain stoneware surfaces become design elements for environments with a strong decorative impact.
The new collection is the perfect symbiosis of craftsmanship and technological innovation. Peri has taken the ancient rammed earth construction technique and expresses his personal interpretation of it on the large CEDIT slabs — for the first time in the 280-by-120cm size). The appearance is deep, rough and textured, and is enriched by three-dimensional plays of light and shadow that come to life in the decorative elements.
