Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, the AF/21 faucet from Fantini is the result of exploration into the simplification of forms. Now available in the new British Matte Gold PVD finish, the faucets reminisce on the forms found on the controls of a stereo. The new finish is obtained with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment, which applies a thin film onto the fixtures in a vacuum phase, keeping the structure of the surface unaltered. This process is also used in the biomedical fields, where it allows for variety of color tones while eliminating impurities.
