ARAN Cucine Sipario Kitchen

Sipario kitchen, designed by Makio Hasuike & Co. in collaboration with the design team of ARAN Cucine, with its name suggests a solution conceived as a stage where you celebrate not only the art of cooking, but – as the theatre teaches – also the encounter and the exchange of ideas. A project of aggregation and participation in which each detail has been studied to improve the idea of interactive space for living.

Presented in Eurocucina 2024, the new composition Sipario in natural oak is the perfect synthesis of design, aesthetics, and functionality. With its island suspended from the floor thanks to the elegant black metal structure, available in the catalogue in different finishes, it can be used as a preparation surface or as a table to accommodate convivial moments. Equipped with open compartments and glass shelves, it provides an organized space for ingredients, dishes and utensils, highlighting the main gestures in the kitchen.

On the MATERIKA Majestic top (an exclusive line of stoneware and quartz countertops by ARAN Cucine) there is both a washing and cooking area with an induction hob. The slim composition leaves room for accessories and tools. Although it occupies the entire length of the island, the suspended extractor hood, made of black aluminum tubular, is deconstructed and light in shape, almost ethereal. The open cabinet and wall units allow you to organize the ingredients, dishes, and objects in a rational and functional way.

The kitchen Sipario is not only a space for cooking, but also an environment designed to actively involve actors and spectators in the representation of the art of cooking. The presentation of the culinary experience is like a performance, with the ‘Sipario’ (curtain) rising.
