For Houston-based interior designer Casey Brand, attending W2W 2025 was life changing. An avid runner and traveler who loves running in the early mornings as cities and suburbs are “waking up,” Brand had thought about having her own design show telling the stories of artisans.

“For years, I had been daydreaming about doing an ‘Anthony Bourdain-style’ documentary on design. I wanted to bring a light to the artisans bringing beauty to the world around them,” she said.

During W2W, Brand happened to be speaking on a panel with Alison Kenworthy of Homeworthy, and the possibility that her dream might come true blossomed before her eyes.

“Hearing Alison talk at Women to Women gave me sea legs to think this show could be a reality,” said Brand.

Fast forward just a few weeks, and “Brand on the Run” went into production. And it all began with saying yes to Women to Women. The NKBA looks forward once again to celebrating, inspiring and elevating the exceptional women in the design community – this time in New Orleans.
