Zephyr has announced expansion of its direct distribution into Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. The San Francisco-based appliance manufacturer will now sell direct into a total of 12 states across the U.S.
For more than 17 years, Zephyr has successfully grown the brand in these territories with distributor Monde Home Products. Now, president of Monde Home Products and long-time Zephyr partner and friend, Doug McRobbie, is heading into retirement.
“We are so fortunate to have worked with Monde for all of these years and built a successful partnership,” said Dean A. Striler, Zephyr vice president sales. “Doug McRobbie is a dear friend and hardworking businessman; we wish him the best of luck.”
The Zephyr Direct Distribution expansion into the new U.S. territories was effective Oct. 1, 2020.
“It has been an honor to have represented Zephyr for almost two decades,” said McRobbie. “I truly value the partnership and look forward to watching their continued growth.”
The Western Canadian territory previously managed by Monde Home Products will now be handled by Distinctive Canada and the Canadian expansion is effective Nov. 1, 2020.
Zephyr now sells direct in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. It also works with national distributors, including Almo Corporation, Doolittle Distributing, Distinctive Canada and Lakeview Appliance Distributing.
