Miami joins Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, Prague, and Vienna as the latest city to host a LAUFEN Space. It is situated in the vibrant Ironside neighborhood, a locus for creativity and commerce.
The personality of the Swiss brand is expressed in a symbiosis of design, quality and functionality presented in the LAUFEN Space Miami. Over 125 years, LAUFEN has been using the oldest malleable material known to man to make innovative sanitary products with legendary Swiss precision in state-of-the-art facilities.
In the Miami installation, an oversize industrial racking unit, 12 meters long and over 3 meters high, is the dominant element in the space. This intentional arrangement reminds visitors that sanitaryware is produced through an industrial process and also serves as an archive, where the collections are arrayed in all their variety.
On the second level, a gallery space blends into an open work area including a library. Underneath, the space allows for talks, presentations, video installations and other programs with a calendar of events planned for 2022.
