KBIS Producer Emerald Acquires Kitchen & Bath Canada Expo

Emerald Holding, Inc., producer of North America’s leading kitchen and bath trade event Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and owner of Kitchen & Bath Business magazine, has acquired the Kitchen & Bath Canada (KBC) Expo from ExpoHut. Originally scheduled to return to Toronto Congress Centre, November 5-6, 2025, the reimagined KBC will now take place in 2026, allowing the new ownership team to deliver an elevated, high-calibre experience for all attendees, exhibitors and partners.

The decision was made to ensure the inaugural event under new leadership aligns with their bold vision for the event. The new team is committed to creating a must-attend platform that sets a new standard for quality and value within the industry, and is actively finalizing venues and dates for 2026 and looks forward to sharing updates soon.

Brian Pagel, EVP of Emerald, stated, “We have received significant interest and support from the market for this event. However, scheduling conflicts have made it challenging to secure the desired lineup for 2025. This strategic pause will allow us to deliver on our commitment to presenting a world-class showcase that meets the high expectations of the industry and reflects the expo’s revitalized brand.”

Pagel continued, “We’re thrilled to bring the strength of the KBIS platform to Canada through the acquisition of KBC.” The demand for a nationally focused, high-quality kitchen and bath experience in Canada is undeniable. In partnership with NKBA, we’re creating a powerful new opportunity for Canadian professionals to connect, learn and grow – right here at home.”
