Kalco Lighting, a leading manufacturer of casual luxury lighting and furniture designs, is teaming up with twin sisters and co-stars of HGTV’s “Unsellable Houses” Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis. Throughout the exclusive yearlong collaboration, the renovation mavens will handpick Kalco’s trendsetting lighting styles for projects on which they are working, helping homeowners sell houses that have been on the market without seeing any bites.
In addition to working together to transform undesirable abodes, Kalco will be displayed in Lyndsay and Lesile’s Snohomish, Washington-based Design Center that showcases their top recommendations across the design category, from tile and paint to wallpaper and window treatments. The duo will also select Kalco’s curated collections for various remodels planned through their interior design and consulting firm Lamb & Co., which specializes in providing custom services, from minor refreshes to whole home makeovers.
“Kalco and Lyndsay and Leslie are on a journey to create inspired living spaces through artisanal craftsmanship and signature style, so this partnership feels like a natural fit,” says Riki Lent, Senior Vice President of Kalco Lighting and Allegri Crystal by Kalco. “We want to see our lighting help bring even more dream spaces to life, whether it’s a large-scale bathroom remodel or a modest kitchen remodel in the Pacific Northwest.”
Founded in 1980, Kalco specializes in handcrafted lighting. Over the decades, the company has embraced emerging design trends and emphasized the use of materials found in nature, such as Capiz shell, jute rope, leather and rattan, to create rooms that feel luxurious, yet relaxed. Likewise, Lyndsay and Leslie’s home style is a mixture of classic furnishings and industrial comfort with earthy undertones, soft textures and pops of color.
“New lighting can instantly improve a home and change the feel of an outdated space,” says Lamb. “We’re really drawn to Kalco’s naturally inspired design style and think it blends seamlessly with the cozy chic vibe we like.”
“Unsellable Houses” is set to return to HGTV sometime this year. Between renovations on and off the show, Kalco and the designers will likely partner on more than 50 home remodels this year.
