The Decorators & Designers Association of Canada (DDA Canada) recently revealed the winners of its Canada-wide annual Decorating and Design Competition at a gala event in Toronto. Now in its 24th year, DDA Canada’s competition inspires decorating and design professionals by celebrating the most outstanding Canadian residential and commercial interiors designed in the past year.

“This national competition showcases our fabulous members and their talent,” said Mary Dancey, chair of awards for DDA Canada. “There were so many outstanding submissions this year, it’s clear our members are continuing to advance their craft on every level.”
Competition entries were evaluated based on complexity, concept, materials, functionality and other criteria, like creativity and aesthetic. Three projects have been selected to take home the gold, silver and bronze awards in 10 categories:
