Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Michelle Westcott-Richards as Senior Marketing Events Manager. With over two decades of experience in public relations and special events within the luxury home and design industry, Richards brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to ADAC.

“As I step into the role of Senior Marketing Events Manager at ADAC, I look forward to leveraging my experience in strategic event management and marketing to drive impactful and innovative initiatives,” said Richards. “I am excited to collaborate with the talented team at ADAC to enhance its presence within the design community and create exceptional experiences that reflect the center’s leadership in the industry.”

Richards’ career began at AmericasMart in Atlanta, where she quickly made a name for herself in the public relations and special events realm. Her journey then took her to New York City, where she held prominent positions with globally recognized brands. Most notably, she served as Head of Public Relations & Special Events for Fiskars Group, managing luxury brands such as Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Copenhagen, Iittala, and Royal Doulton. Throughout her career, Richards has led impactful PR campaigns and orchestrated large-scale events, including strategic collaborations with renowned designers like Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, and Sheila Bridges.

One of her standout accomplishments was overseeing the Waterford Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball partnership for over 10 years, generating over $3 billion in annual media impressions. Her efforts also included collaborating with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to design a Waterford triangle for the Times Square Ball – a symbol of hope created by a young patient.
