Wood-Mode partnered with Docking Drawer to create two Style Drawer Blade powering outlets.

Wood-Mode has partnered with in-drawer electrical outlet manufacturer Docking Drawer to develop two enhanced Style Drawer Blade powering outlets. The in-drawer outlet reduces the space behind the drawer box required for hardware, neatly fitting behind the industry standard drawer depth, which eliminates the need to customize the depth of the drawer box or compromise the usable space within the drawer. It also allows designers to incorporate in-drawer powering outlets into vertical organizers as well as vanity drawers as narrow as 14.5 inches wide.

From the kitchen to the master bath, these in-drawer outlet solutions fit a variety of drawer widths and depths. The Docking Drawer Blade charging outlets include AC outlets and USB ports for charging devices such as cell phones, tablets, laptops, fitness trackers and e-readers and offer a maximum output of 3 amps. The Docking Drawer Blade can charge up to eight devices simultaneously. The Style Drawer Blade powering outlets were designed specifically for small appliances and high-powered handheld devices such as hair dryers, curling irons, stand mixers and tools. They offer a maximum output of 20 amps and can power up to two devices at a time.

Wood-Mode‘s Blade products keep counters clear from plugs, wires and devices, creating a safer, more organized space. Built-in breakers prevent improper use of charging outlets, and powering outlets feature an interlocking UL-listed thermostat that cuts power to the outlet if the surrounding temperature reaches 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
