New Sartorial Collection breathes new life into familiar patterns

Kohler’s Artist Edition line of bathroom sinks introduces fresh designs with an old-world history with its new Sartorial Collection. In Herringbone and Paisley, each design is available on three base shapes: Carillon Round and Rectangular Wading Pools and Caxton 17-by-14-in. undermount.

Both the Paisley and Herringbone designs celebrate the white-on-white trend with raised patterns that are timeless, tactile and dimensional. The paisley design, which the French made their own centuries ago by infusing the traditionally Indian teardrop design with their singular brand of Continental chic, is a pattern that never feels outdated.

The more geometric herringbone has an intricate and interwoven pattern that has long been a favorite for menswear fabrics. The Herringbone motif for the Artist Edition Collection is a whimsical assortment of dots and dashes, a modern Morse code communicated across a glossy reflective surface.
