RSI Home Products, a manufacturer of kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, medicine cabinets and cultured marble countertop products in the U.S. and Canada, has announced that effective July 15, 2013, Thomas Chieffe will join the company as CEO. He succeeds Alex Calabrese, who will continue as the company’s executive chairman of the board. Chieffe most recently worked as an operating executive with Oak Tree Capital, a private equity investment firm, and spent four years as the CEO of Associated Materials Inc. (AMI), a windows and vinyl siding manufacturer for the housing industry.Â
RSI Home Products also has plans to acquire its sister company, Professional Cabinet Solutions, a manufacturer of European-style frameless kitchen and bath cabinets sold to homebuilders and kitchen and bath dealers. Both companies will operate as separate business units under the RSI umbrella.
