Scavolini Chicago recently opened on the first floor of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. The new, custom designed, 3,000-sq.-ft. space, will also host a grand opening celebration on February 20, 2014.
Scavolini Chicago is family owned and operated by sisters Niki and Alisha Serras and Alisha’s husband Brian Gamache. After opening their first store in Detroit, Mich., in 2010, the trio has seen steady growth and felt ready to expand into a new market. Scavolini Chicago has five kitchen vignettes and four bathroom vignettes showing the latest designs from Italy.
“It is a very exciting time to be in this industry,” said Niki Serras, co-owner at Scavolini Chicago. “Interior design is more important than ever, people are looking to express their individual style through their home. Chicago is an exciting city, and we can’t wait to make our mark on the residential design scene. The Merchandise Mart was the obvious choice for us, and we jumped at the opportunity to open in a premier location on the first floor (Suite 110).”
