The new evolution of Ideagroup’s iconic Cubik collection furniture range speaks the essential language of architecture, where aesthetic precision and clean geometric lines are seamlessly combined, and textured surfaces offer a pleasing sensory experience.
Designed in 2012 by Riccardo Gava, Ideagroup’s designer and art director, Cubik is characterized by the 45-degree sloping edges of its handle-less doors and drawers, ensuring a seamless, minimalist design — a signature detail that has established Cubik as a benchmark collection and a timeless reference in Italian and global bathroom design.
The collection now evolves with new versatile modularity options and finishes tailored to address more specific design requirements. Key new features include a 48.5 cm-high module with a central groove between the drawers and a 60.5 cm-high wall-mounted module. These additions reflect contemporary living trends that call for more generous storage solutions.
New open base and wall units have been added to provide enhanced storage capacity and allow for more versatile arrangements. Featuring the collection’s signature 45-degree edge, these new pieces maintain perfect visual continuity across the entire collection.
Premium natural materials, such as Rovere Caffè and Rovere Termo, have been introduced to expand the range of available finishes. These expertly crafted finishes maintain a continuous grain match between the fronts and the end panels, a signature touch that elevates the prestige of the Cubik range.
The existing range of finishes is further enhanced by new Unicolor HPL laminate finishes with marble-effect textures: Verde Dolomiti, Grigio Yule, Rosso Maya and Bianco Olimpo. Complementing these are five new solid colors — Scintilla, Firmamento, Lampo, Bagliore and Meteora — each featuring a sophisticated, tactile ‘dusty effect.’
To enhance creative freedom and broaden the scope for color combinations, the collection’s distinctive 45-degree aluminum-framed fronts are now available in all matte and metal color shades from the Ideagroup range. This update enables designers to pair these colored frames with panels in glossy or etched glass back-lacquered in any color in the Ideagroup palette, or in the existing stop-sol and clear gray etched glass options. Rounding off the glass selection is a new Deco-style flutes glass option, a three-dimensional ribbed glass available in a frosted finish in all shades in the Ideagroup color palette.
