Stepping across the threshold of L’Ottocento’s Flagship Store in Milan, opening during MDW at Viale Piave 4, visitors are embraced by the suggestive atmosphere of handcrafted, bespoke furnishings. These pieces, crafted from fine woods, are designed to instill a refined harmony within the home.
This design philosophy comes to life in a spectacular new kitchen composition, characterized by walls embellished with the Levante boiserie system. Finished in a glossy Verde Inglese lacquer, it features a distinctive wave pattern with irregular spacing. Fully functional for storage, the Levante system includes integrated spotlights that highlight its sinuous shapes. It unfolds across a structured pantry wall, while the adjacent wall frames the refrigerator and oven columns of the Etesia model, featuring recessed doors.
The same smooth doors with rounded corners, crafted in Noce Canaletto Silky Brownfrom the Etesia model, are also found in the wall units and base units of the wash area.
Completing the L’Ottocento kitchen is a prominent wooden island, also from the Etesia model, featuring a new square design. The island houses the cooktop with an integrated hood and snack counter designed for informal social moments. The Etesia collection also includes stools in black open-pore lacquered ash with seats upholstered in Verde Inglese leather.
In this enveloping space, the materiality of the Verde Alpi marble used for the countertops and backsplash anchors the room, creating a natural harmony and aesthetic balance.
The Levante boiserie extends throughout the room with great personality, integrating seamlessly with an elegant wooden door with portholes that leads to the living area. This system can be coordinated across other areas of the home as well. The furnishing is completed by the Dioniso sideboard, finished in liquid metal steel lacquer and customized with an internal coffee machine. Both the door and the sideboard always bear L’Ottocento signature.
This new kitchen project serves as a manifesto for the design philosophy showcased in the new Flagship Store, titled “La Casa Gentile”. The artisan mastery and design excellence that have always defined the brand create a fluid narrative where quality and sustainability intertwine.
The result is timeless, bespoke furniture that extends from the kitchen to the entire home – an invitation to experience daily life through the lens of beauty, in environments designed for personal well-being.
