Construction Resources Announces Key Strategic Hires

Published: March 3, 2026

Construction Resources (CR), the Southeast-based multi-category design destination, is proud to announce three new strategic hires to support its continued growth trajectory.

Redefining the standard for multi-product design destinations, CR demonstrates significant momentum following the recent opening of its Atlanta Flagship, the expansive CR Design Center at Westside Paper and its CR Buckhead Design Studio, as well as its most recent acquisition, Dallas-based luxury appliance, plumbing and lighting distributor The Jarrell Company

CR is also set to open its newest CR Design Center in Mount Pleasant, S.C., later this year, further solidifying its commitment to serving professional builders, designers and homeowners across key markets.

David Himes has joined CR as senior vice president of strategic planning & expansion. Himes brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including five years at Ferguson Home, where he served as vice president. In that role, he was responsible for more than 250 showrooms and led the Builder Sales organization, generating $6 billion in revenue. Prior to Ferguson, Himes was president of Monark Premium Appliances. In his new role, Himes will focus on driving growth, operational excellence and strategic expansion across the complex, multi-channel organization.

Sam Rose has stepped into the role of vice president of strategic initiatives & integration. Rose joined CR with invaluable credentials, including his 25-year tenure at Ferguson Enterprises, where he focused on showroom and builder strategy, helping implement a customer-centric approach across the appliances, plumbing and lighting categories. Most recently, Rose led The Home Depot Design Centers conversion from a retail model to a pro builder focus. Rose’s depth of experience and strategic leadership are well suited to help CR scale effectively with a strong emphasis on process optimization and growth strategies.

Tripp Parker will serve as CR’s new vice president of multi–product sales. Parker brings more than 25 years of home products expertise, joining CR from Cambria Quartz Surfaces, where he served for 20 years, most recently as executive vice president of sales. At Cambria, he was instrumental in building and developing the sales teams across the United States, establishing the Distribution Center model and spearheading the Cambria relationship with Home Depot, developing it into a national program. In his new role, Parker will focus on recruiting and building high performing multi-product sales teams across new markets and the expanded core CR platform.

“The addition of David, Sam and Tripp marks a pivotal moment for Construction Resources, setting the stage for strong momentum as we begin 2026 and execute our accelerated growth plan,” said CEO Mitch Hires. “Their collective industry experience and proven track records in driving operational excellence and strategic growth will be invaluable as we continue to scale our multi-product model and cement our position as the premier design destination in the Southeast and beyond.”
