Quartzforms Madreterra

Quartzforms, a brand of Scapin Group, unveiled Madreterra at Marmomac last month. The second generation of sustainable slabs, Madreterra is an expression of research that looks far ahead. Opening a new chapter in the dialogue between nature and innovation, where matter regenerates itself and becomes a conscious project, it is capable of telling the future through beauty, ethics and durability.

Born from in-depth technological research and a genuine commitment to sustainability, Madreterra marks an evolution in the way we think about and shape materials. Thanks to an innovative production process, each surface is created from 100% recycled aggregates from quarry waste.

Free of added quartz and with a reduced presence of crystalline silica, Madreterra redefines the boundaries of surfaces. It is not just material, it is memory renewed, it is the voice of the earth that, through technology, regenerates itself and becomes design. A new language for architects and interior designers, it is able to inspire with authenticity, endure over time and tell of a more conscious future.

Madreterra naturally enters the Ecotone family, Quartzforms’ project dedicated to sustainable surfaces, where technology and environmental awareness merge into an authentic and innovative language. Alongside the New Era range — 12 slabs born from an avant-garde formulation made of recycled materials, resin derived from bio compounds and with a crystalline silica content of less than 5% — Madreterra introduces a new poetics of upcycling, a creative gesture that restores value and new life to granite aggregates.

With Madreterra, Quartzforms continues its sustainability journey, the result of scientific research and technological innovation, where every detail arises from study and experimentation.

Luce opens the range with its crystalline presence, reflective and pure like calcite exposed to the sun, it illuminates spaces with the grace of living stone. Alongside it, sandy tones unfold in two interpretations — Dune, warm and mineral, recalls arid landscapes shaped by the wind, while Isola, more pronounced and deep, evokes volcanic coasts where sand merges with rock in a balanced display of character. Lastly, Ombra completes the material library, introducing a denser and earthier note, a desaturated brown that speaks of raw matter, essential and authentic.

Madreterra is the result of thought taking form, of stone regenerating and of technology listening to nature. With this collection, Quartzforms opens a new chapter in the dialogue between sustainability and innovation, offering surfaces that are not only to be seen but to be lived.
