California Faucets has once again earned top honors from one of the most respected voices in the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. Every other year, StarCraft Reviews, the nation’s oldest and most read independent reviewer of plumbing products, ranks the top faucets in the industry. For 2025, California Faucets again received a near-perfect score and has been named “Best Value Faucet—North American Luxury.”
The review recognizes the exceptional quality of the company’s handcrafted custom faucets. In addition to superior craftsmanship, it praises the company’s award-winning service, strong warranty program and exceptional value. Having received the same nod in StarCraft’s 2023 report, the back-to-back distinction reaffirms California Faucets’ place among the elite in the luxury faucet category.
“California Faucets’ faucets, and showers, are well-designed and innovative, carefully manufactured using only the best components in an assembly plant that is more craft shop than factory,” according to the 2025-2026 Best Value Faucets review.
StarCraft calls California Faucets’ approach to making its heavy, all-brass craft faucets “smart and creative,” pointing out that the faucets are not produced en masse on an assembly line. Rather, each faucet is custom assembled and hand finished in any one of the “remarkable” array of 25-plus artisan finishes.
The report also praises California Faucets’ pricing structure, pointing out that even though the company offers extensive customization, prices are kept relatively low.
“Pricing is generally below the mean for luxury faucets and ‘well below’ the average price of European luxury brands,” stated StarCraft reviewers.

Adding further value to California Faucets products, the company’s warranty and customer service are identified as “outstanding” in the review. Reviewers laud the “strong limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and, except for living finishes, tarnishing,” pointing out that “the warranty is supported by one of the smoothest customer service operations we have encountered.” StarCraft calls representatives “capable, responsive, and California-friendly.”
StarCraft Reviews uses rigorous methodology to evaluate faucet manufacturers based on four key metrics — product quality, strength of warranty, post-sale service and testing/certification. As the 2025 report notes, “There are only a handful of the 300 or so faucet companies in our reviews that seem to do everything right. California Faucets is one of them.”
