Lawrence Group has announced the hiring of interior design professionals Sydney Mitchell and Ashley Buchmiller at its St. Louis headquarters.
Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, where she was an active member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the track and field team. Her industry experience includes a summer associate position at Divine Events, where she honed her skills in event planning, creative design and spatial planning, and a pair of internships in the engineering and estimating departments at PARIC Corporation in St. Louis.
Buchmiller recently graduated with an accelerated master’s degree in interior design from Illinois State University. Her design experience includes summer internships at Marcia Moore Designs and Castle Design, both located in Clayton, Mo. She most recently worked as a graduate teaching assistant – Interior Design Studio III at Illinois State University, where she educated students on Revit and rendering software, plus graded and provided feedback on student work.
