Ralph Lauren If there is anyone in this business who stays loyal to his vision, it is Ralph Lauren. One of my favorite spaces in the RL palazzo was the Estate room, where multiple layers of different fabrics tied together with raw rope covered the windows and walls. It was over-the-top Ralph and really, really beautiful. ralphlauren.com
Cymbal by Hisle This table lamp of brass and aluminum is made completely by hand, with a reflecting panel that is produced by a company that manufactures drum cymbals. It is stunning, and the light it throws is like velvet. hisle.fr
Cork Family by Vitra The Casa Cork activation, brought to Milan by the Rockwell Group, was brilliant. I think most folks know that cork is sustainable, responsible, water resistant – and typically kind of boring. Not here. Here we had tables, light fixtures, flooring and these stools/side tables that looked like champagne corks. vitra.com
Amer Musa Throw by Hermes The Hermes exhibit of home accessories did not disappoint (although the line to get in did). The new collection of china, glass, throws and carpets was everything I hoped it would be, but my favorite was this throw by Paris-based artist Amer Musa with applique polka dots informed by children’s games. hermes.com
Atelier by Dornbracht Did you ever think you needed a mother of pearl, leather or velvet faucet? I do now! OMG, Dornbracht offers customized finishes in these materials and more. Beyond lux. dornbracht.com Photo: Dornbracht
Maxima 2.2 by Cesar This design is a whole lot of the future and a bit of the past. Built like a mid-century Italian modular bookshelf, this kitchen made my day. It was made for that West Loop, Tribeca loft-type situation for sure. How many ways can I spell love?? cesar.it Photo: Cesar
