The flagship KUCHT Professional showroom serves the NY/NJ/CT tri-state market from a strategic location in northern New Jersey.
Luciana Porta, co-founder and COO of KUCHT Professional, said, “At KUCHT, family is everything, and having a welcoming space where you can gather with your closest friends and family is exactly what we were looking for. The openness of the showroom, as well as the warmth of the design makes this space feel like you are in your own kitchen, making memories with those closest to you.”
While designing the second-floor showroom space, three important goals were kept in mind: To display the products in a way that will allow visitors to envision it in their home, to feature an elegant mix of high-end luxury and everyday styles and to create a space suitable for hosting events and parties – “Because everyone knows the magic happens in the kitchen, so why not in a kitchen showroom?” said Porta.
There is a substantial outdoor area that continues the vision by adding color and the look and feel of a real home, and allows for live demonstrations of the brand’s pizza ovens.
On one wall of the showroom, “Customize Your Range” is an interactive station that allows visitors to mix and match different range and accessory colors (bold pastels with gold trim, etc.) to see how it will look before any purchase is made, giving designers and clients the opportunity to make a truly informed buying decision.
The typical tour starts by showing visitors the ranges and learning what their preferences are: gas, dual fuel or induction. After that, they’re escorted through the refrigeration options that not only pair with the range, but also suits the needs of the family. Finally, customers are walked through the rest of the appliances in the kitchen suite. “We designed the showroom with this in mind, so it has a natural flow of progression,” notes Porta.
