The BSH Experience & Design Center is the brand’s first showroom in the greater Los Angeles area, set in the heart of one of the most iconic luxury retail hotbeds in the world: Beverly Hills.
Sandra Mora, design project manager, BSH Home Appliances North America, explains the inspiration for the showroom’s design came from Beverly Hills’ official designation as a ‘Tree City’, which signifies there are more trees than residents in the community. “With that mentality, we worked to incorporate a lot of natural elements including woods, stone, natural greenery and other organic elements throughout the space lend an airy and natural ambiance to the space,” she said, noting that native California oak is abundant in the interior design.
“I tend to draw inspiration from restaurants and other interactive spaces like museums, rather than more typical design showrooms,” said Mora. “I tend to find more insightful inspiration comes from these experiential and interactive spaces.”
The company’s three distinct brands – Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau – are evenly accommodated within each of its showrooms. In the Beverly Hills location, the goal was to design a unified space that offers three unique brand experiences, each reflecting their own identity while contributing to a harmonious overall environment.
Of the Beverly Hills showroom, Andrew de Lara, spokesperson for BSH Region North America, said, “When you walk through this space, you’re not just stepping into a kitchen. You’re entering a curated environment, where every detail is intentional. It’s a full kitchen suite designed for those who see cooking not as a chore, but as a form of cultural expression. It’s a space for connoisseurs to build on their craft, with tools that are equal parts high-performance and high art.”
