Wave Murano Glass introduces the Scilla basin. Named for the Scylla nymph of Greek legend, the basin was created by glass master Roberto Beltrami, who used the ancient technique of “rostrato,” working blown glass with a special tool called “tagliol” (sculpting knife) at a hot temperature up to 1,000 degrees. The Scylla was inspired by Beltrami’s earlier Spike vase.
