Chalmette is Julie Neill’s latest introduction for Visual Comfort. The new suspension light is a shade within a shade, designed on the idea of a central cylinder that is perforated with tiny holes and contains the light source. Light shines out of these holes and bounces off the outer cylinder, creating an ambient glow.
Available in four finish options — aged iron, gild, plaster white, and plaster white and gild — Chalmette pendants are available in 11- to 38-in. widths, and it also comes as a sconce.
