Victoria + Albert has unveiled its newest contemporary tub – the Terrassa Bath. Named in honor of a Spanish city known for its artistic heritage and modernist architecture, this freestanding tub features clean lines and the absence of exterior ornamentation.
The Terrassa is notable for the sculpted “swage” details on the inside of tub that create shadow lines, while its rimless design is a hallmark of the company’s Modern Collection. With a deep and double-ended bathing well, the tub offers a roomy interior that easily accommodates one or two people despite its 67-in. length, which allows it to accommodate smaller spaces. Crafted of ENGLISHCAST, a finely ground Volcanic Limestone mixed with resin, the Terrassa is cast in one seamless piece that won’t crack or flex. As with all ENGLISHCAST models for 2016, the tub is available in seven exterior finishes including gloss black, stone gray and anthracite.
