With Entre, Victor Manuel takes the Interstício research from the kitchen into the bathroom. Rather than placing a conventional bathroom cabinet longitudinally against a wall, Entre turns the typology through 90 degrees and creates two independent washbasins on opposite sides of the same central element.
The mirror is no longer simply attached to the wall. It becomes the element between the two users, simultaneously dividing and connecting them. The layout allows for two sides and two rituals in one object.
Storage remains concealed in its silent state and is revealed through use, continuing the same principle of silence, latency, interaction and revelation. The intention was not simply to create a different-looking bathroom cabinet but to reconsider the relationship between object, space and two people using the same object from opposite sides.
