True Caliber is launching the revolutionary Rockwell Duo, a high-performance piece that centers on a dynamic duo cooktop, which combines grill grates and a flat-top griddle on a single, seamless surface to deliver both the sizzling heat of the grill and the sharp sear of the griddle.
The Rockwell Duo is available in 48-in. built-in and 60-in. freestanding models, and it maintains the Rockwell’s hallmark 360-degree, walk-around design, inviting guests to gather, socialize and participate in the culinary process from every vantage point. Engineered as an interactive outdoor centerpiece, the dual-surface grill features a fully retractable “disappearing lid” that slides beneath the cooktop, keeping the surface unobstructed and transforming outdoor cooking into a shared performance rather than a solitary task.
Equal parts statement piece and outdoor cooking staple, the grill’s new advancements include dual-surface performance, precision heating and a bespoke aesthetic. The Duo’s split surface is engineered to deliver precise heat across the entire cooktop.
It is engineered with two patented 304 stainless steel Crossflame burners — a 20,000 BTU burner dedicated to the 18.5-by-18-in. grill section and a 16,000 BTU burner dedicated to the 17-by-15.5-in. griddle surface, delivering targeted, high-performance heat control.
Duo is envisioned to seamlessly integrate into a variety of outdoor kitchen layouts. The 60-in. grill also comes with an integrated side surface that expands the functional workspace, offering a dedicated area for plating, prepping or presenting dishes directly at the grill.
Crafted to withstand all climates, the grill has been equipped with durable Weber Knapp hinges and a firebox pitched at a steeper angle to significantly improve grease management and flow. Constructed from the same 300-series stainless steel as True’s commercial-grade refrigeration, the 60-in. Freestanding model has a marine-grade aluminum body with an architectural sapele wood base.
Through the extensive Customize Your Caliber program, the grill is available in True’s curated color and hardware options, yielding 96 color combinations. Clients can alternatively opt for True Caliber’s custom color matching capabilities, which include the option to utilize automotive-grade paints for a highly durable, custom aesthetic.
When paired with True’s UL-rated undercounter refrigeration units, designers and homeowners can now create a fully cohesive outdoor kitchen suite in both form and function.
