Tracy Glover Studio (TGS) has announced the Bubble Collection, its first product collection collaboration. TGS has joined forces with Metier LA, celebrated makers of one-of-a-kind handcrafted furniture, to develop a complete lighting offering made from hand-blown glass and metalwork.
The five-piece collection combines the beauty of handmade American brass lighting designs with the famous Murano glass blowing technique first developed by Italian designer Archemide Seguso in the 1930s and now practiced by the TGS team.
These simple yet chic lighting designs represent a new avenue of design for Metier LA. The luxurious handmade glass orbs exhibit the characteristic air bubble patterns of the Bullicante technique that is featured in each of the five lighting designs created in the collaboration.
All of the designs in the collection are available in clear glass with Bullicante pattern or opaline and four metal finish options — brushed nickel, polished nickel, brushed brass and black oxide. All are UL and cUL listed, and 2.5w dimmable LED lamps are included.
