Thompson Traders is proud to launch a brand-new collection developed in collaboration with nationally recognized interior designer Kara Cox called the Quintana Collection. Comprising a modern take on a farmhouse sink, oval range hood, bar sink, integrated vanity and bath sink and freestanding soaking tub (shown), the Quintana Collection softens the hard lines and edges found in traditional kitchen and bath designs. Each product features soft curves, striking organic shapes and an unexpected mix of metal finishes. The bold yet balanced collection unites Thompson Trader‘s exquisite vision of hand-crafted metal creations with Cox’s fresh, tailored aesthetic.
Cox found inspiration for the Quintana Collection from a recent trip to the resort town of Tulum in Quintana Roo, a Mexican state on the eastern tip of the Yucatán Peninsula known for its crystal-clear waters, long sandy beaches, Mayan ruins and lush tropical forests. The creative seeds for the unexpected shapes of the collection were planted by the home she stayed in during that visit to Tulum.
Cox and Thompson Traders have been working together as designer and vendor partner for more than four years. The relationship began when Thompson Traders worked with Cox to create a custom vanity for the powder room in her own home. The relationship blossomed and Cox began specifying Thompson Traders products for projects of all sizes.
