Inspired by the American Industrial Age, THG-Paris has introduced two new lines of faucetry including Saint-Germain (below) and Beaubourg (above). Each design incorporates the look of elements found in factories and workshops in the 1950s, such as industrial pipe and fittings. Saint-Germain marries the look of raw iron, industrial steel bolts, tie-rods, washers and fasteners together with vintage levers and valve cross handles. The handles feature prominent octagonal nut accents with the same feature at the end of the spout. Beaubourg is a refined interpretation of the industrial genre that incorporates the look of factory hardware, cast-iron pipe and fittings, but finishes each element with round curves and soft, beveled edges. Each cross handle or lever sits on top of a spool-like base, resembling a roller die used for bending tubing.
