From its Square line, Star Tile introduces Branching, a design inspired by the natural growth patterns of tree branches and water tributaries, echoing nature’s organic spread.
Branching patterns are among nature’s most efficient and universal designs, appearing in forms that span scales, ecosystems and elements. The branching motif demonstrates how everything is connected. By examining the commonalities of this pattern found in nature, Star Tile has recognized the energetic essence of this archetype — a universal design for optimizing flow, connection and distribution.
Branching includes three tile patterns that can be creatively arranged in any desired orientation. Each tile is 4 by 4 inches and made of ceramic stoneware — mid fire with a white or terracotta clay body. The tiles can be used on interior or exterior walls or ceilings and are ideal for a variety of environments, from high-end residential to public spaces.
Made by hand in California, Star Tile’s offerings reimagine ceramics as multidimensional fractals — honoring the geometry of form. By designing with these geometries of nature, Star Tile channels the universal codes that nature itself uses to create balance and harmony.

Launched by female entrepreneurs Andrea Keller and Mikayla Mitchell and based in Joshua Tree, the brand fuses centuries-old ceramic artistry with innovative, sustainable practices.
