Kitchen appliance brand SMEG has announced the latest addition to its beloved FAB refrigerator lineup — the FAB50. Combining vintage-inspired aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, the FAB50 is designed to redefine the modern kitchen experience and marks a significant milestone as the largest model in the retro refrigerator collection to date. Seamlessly blending form and function, the refrigerator allows consumers more room for storage without sacrificing SMEG’s instantly recognizable retro style.
Standing more than 6 feet tall and more than 2 feet wide, the 19.3-cu.-ft. FAB50 is inclusive of a refrigerator and freezer combination, featuring ample internal space that caters to various storage needs. Designed with versatility and user convenience in mind, the refrigerator component is equipped with two adjustable shelves and a dedicated drawer for fruits and vegetables, along with a LifePlus compartment, which ensures an optimal and sustained temperature, preserving the freshness and quality of food. A refreshed internal layout adds a touch of modernity to the product, which has an automatic ice maker and LED lighting throughout.
Additional notable features on the Energy Star-certified FAB50 include a Multiflow system that evenly and constantly distributes air, an Active Ion system which neutralizes bacteria and a no-frost design to reduce time defrosting.
The FAB50 is available for purchase now at retailers including Appliances Connection in SMEG’s most popular hues — cream, white, black, red, pastel green and pastel blue. Both right-hinge and left-hinge models are available with the option of chrome or brass finishes depending on colorway.
