Simas Vignoni Sanitaryware

Fresh design concepts revitalized standard bath fixtures.

At Maison&Objet 2024 in the Ceramics of Italy booth, Simas introduced its latest proposals for washbasins, toilets and more.

A novelty of great artistic value are the decorations on sanitaryware ceramics, a path opened by the company in 2004 with Impronte (a range of decorations signed by Terri Pecora), and now a trend in the world of sanitaryware design, which Simas, always a forerunner ahead of its time, presented as a preview at CERSAIE 2023 and now at Maison&Objet.

Simas debuts two new decoration ideas for ceramics: Statuario and Petra.

The first, Statuario, is a high-impact graphic choice with alternating matt and glossy effects, produced in various color versions, on the Balloon and Foriù washbasin collections, as well as on Vignoni sanitaryware (shown). The second, Petra, is a decoration inspired by nature, with a refined, almost rough effect, similar to a raw natural finish in the colors grey, yellow and ink, also realized on the Balloon and Foriù washbasins.

The 2024 edition of Maison&Objet, held from 18 to 22 January at the Parc des Expositions in Paris-Nord Villepinte, coincides with the celebration of 30 years of the event, which is recognized as an international reference point for the most fashionable trends from interior decoration to craftsmanship, from furnishing to design and lifestyle, retail and hospitality.
