SICIS has introduced Ragtime, a new mosaic collection born from the recovery of an ancient technique. Ragtime draws inspiration from the eponymous musical genre, born in the U.S. at the end of the 19th century and made up of syncopated and complex rhythms. Just as the scores intersperse short and long notes in repeated succession, so the designs of the new SICIS tiles alternate thin and thicker lines in a combination of vertical and horizontal. This way, lively and original compositions take shape, perfect for decorating walls and floors with a touch of style.
