Sherwin-Williams has launched the Gallery Series Waterborne Topcoat. Designed for residential and commercial wood finishers, the new product is a hard-wearing, professional-grade coating that achieves a factory-like finish on cabinets, trim and millwork.
The new Sherwin-Williams topcoat dries to the touch in 30 minutes and can be sanded or recoated in as little as 45 minutes, extending the painting day and leading to faster job turnaround. It has excellent hardness and chemical resistance compared to traditional architectural finishes.
The premium waterborne coating technology is ideal for use on kitchen cabinets and wood and composite building products allowing pro finishers to achieve two component performance with a one component system. When properly applied, this self-sealing finish meets or exceeds Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association test requirements. The Gallery Series Waterborne Topcoat was formulated exclusively for professional spray application, giving contractors a high-grade coating with excellent flow and leveling.
